Empower through Action
Community, Inclusion & Well-Being
Staff-Led CSR Events
Establish a structured and impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme that promotes active participation from each campus in two annual initiatives, addressing education, hunger alleviation and sustainability.
Student Recycling Clubs
Establish a dedicated recycling club on each campus, with the Student Representative Council (SRC) leading efforts, to promote environmental sustainability. Each club will complete at least one impactful recycling initiative per year, with the involvement of a Brand Ambassador to champion efforts and create campus-wide excitement.
Paper Recycling Programmes
Ensure all campuses establish effective paper recycling systems by implementing accessible recycling bins and engaging staff to actively participate in reducing paper waste. Drive awareness and accountability to achieve measurable reductions in paper waste each quarter.
Health & Well-Being Events
Each semester, two events are hosted per campus to support student well-being through initiatives aligned with national and global awareness themes. These create opportunities for dialogue, healthier lifestyle choices and access to valuable resources. In addition, one quarterly wellness event is offered for employees, fostering balance, resilience and a supportive workplace culture. Together, these initiatives keep both students and staff informed, connected and encouraged to prioritise their overall well-being.
Themed Wellness Days:
- Diabetes Awareness Day: Provide free health checks, host talks with nutritionists and organise healthy cooking demonstrations.
- Breast Cancer Awareness: Include informative sessions, mammogram sign-up drives and interactive activities like “Pink Walks” or fundraisers.
- Interactive Campaigns: fun challenges like step-count contests or fitness competitions encourage active participation.
- Random Acts of Kindness Campaign: introduce to spread positivity and raise morale.
Counsellor Access
A dedicated counsellor is available for all students and staff to help and guide them should they need additional support. The counsellor provides a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where individuals can openly share their concerns and receive professional guidance. This service not only assists in addressing immediate difficulties, but also contributes to overall wellbeing, resilience and personal growth. By offering access to counselling, we are reinforcing our commitment to creating a supportive and caring environment in which every member of our community can thrive.
